Salty cake with cheese and sundried tomatoes
The savory cake with cheese and sundried tomatoes is a perfect recipe to serve during buffets and appetizers or to be consumed as a packed meal on trips out of town. A rustic with an intense flavor and aroma, easy to prepare and made with few ingredients. To cook it, in fact, you just need to have in the pantry: flour, milk, eggs, extra virgin olive oil, dried tomatoes, cheese, a little yeast for a savory cake.
Ingredients
200 g flour
1 sachet of baking powder
4 eggs
200 g of Goat Log
1 tablespoon oregano
5 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
70 g sun-dried tomatoes
100 ml milk
a knob of butter
salt to taste
pepper to taste
Preparation
To make the savory sundried tomatoes cake, first of all you have to get a capable bowl. Then break the eggs inside and beat them well, until they are nice swollen. Then, continuing to work them, add the extra virgin olive oil, milk and, little by little, the sifted flour together with the yeast. Mix everything until the mixture is smooth and homogeneous. At this point, add the diced goat cheese, and the dried tomatoes cut into julienne to the dough. Season with salt, pepper and a sprinkling of oregano. Stir again and pour the mixture into a plumcake mold, already buttered and floured. Finish your savory pie sundried tomatoes, baking it in a preheated oven at 190 C degrees for about 45 minutes.
