Club sandwich at home
It's been a few times that I see a club sandwich lunch at the restaurant, and it made me want to try one at home. Careful! It's for big eaters. I have one at home, so I have the right. In addition to the essentials (hello with egg, tomato and bacon), I incorporated a hash brown potato, avocado and a slightly spicy maple mayonnaise. I have few words to describe how good it is! A little trick: it can be shared!
INGREDIENTS
3 slices of Grandfather style bread with oats1 hash brown potato patty, commercial1 tsp butter1 eggSalt and pepper, to taste2 slices of tomatoThe flesh of 1/2 avocado2 slices bacon, cooked
FOR MAYONNAISE1/4 cup mayonnaise1 tsp sriracha sauce2 tsp maple syrup
STEPS
In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients "for the mayonnaise", then set aside. Toast the bread slices and potato patty in the toaster. In a small skillet, over medium heat, melt the butter, then cook the egg, taking care to puncture the yolk. Season. Brush the bread slices generously with the spicy maple mayonnaise. Assemble the club sandwich in the following order: bread, egg, potato, bread, tomato, avocado, bacon and bread. Prick 4 toothpicks in the club sandwich and cut it into 4.
