Nutella and cream tartlets
Nutella and cream tartlets are a delicious and easy to prepare dessert. Perfect for ending a meal on a sweet note and as an afternoon snack. Let's see what we need for the preparation of the Nutella and cream tartlets.
Ingredients
For the shortcrust pastry
220 g Flour
100 g Vanilla icing sugar
90 g Butter
1 pinch Salt
1 pinch Baking soda
For the filling
200 g Nutella
150 ml Fresh liquid cream
25 g Vanilla icing sugar
Preparation
Start the preparation of the Nutella and cream tartlets from the shortcrust pastry. In a bowl, place the flour, icing sugar, a pinch of salt and a pinch of baking soda. Mix everything with a fork and add the cold butter. Knead the ingredients until you get a sandy consistency. Add the egg to the butter and flour mixture and continue the kneading initially with a fork then with your hands, until you get a compact and homogeneous dough. Wrap the pastry in tissue paper and place it in the fridge for at least 20 minutes. After the time necessary for the cooling of the pastry, take it out of the fridge and roll it out with a rolling pin until it reaches a thickness of about half a centimeter. With a pastry cutter or a glass, form discs with a diameter of 7 – 10 centimeters. Grease and flour the ramekins and with the pastry discs form the shell of the tartlets. Fill them with Nutella and bake them in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 15 – 20 minutes. When cooked, take it out of the oven and remove the tartlets from the cups. Place them on a wire rack and let them cool completely. In the meantime, whip the cream with the icing sugar and when the tartlets have cooled completely, form a tuft of cream with a pastry bag. Serve the Nutella and cream tartlets to your diners. Those with a sweet tooth can enrich the recipe with toasted hazelnut grains.
