Cornish Hen thighs

A second course based on hen meat, delicious easy and quick to make with a sauce flavored with the scent of sage, rosemary and oregano that will delight your palate. Tender, juicy and with a crunchy crust, only by cooking them in a pan with the addition of aromas and beer. If you don't like beer, you can replace it with white wine. The result will be slightly different, but just as good.

Ingredients

1 kg hen thighs
4 beer glasses
1 garlic clove
3 tablespoons olive oil (evo)
1 sprigof rosemary
3 sage leaves
dried oregano
black pepper (grains)
salt

Preparation

Rinse the thighs (without removing the skin) with running water and place them in a pan together with three tablespoons of olive oil and a clove of garlic (whole). Brown the meat over low heat (on both sides) for 4/5 minutes. When the hen legs are browned, add the spices: black peppercorns, a few leaves of sage, a sprig of rosemary, oregano and cover everything by pouring the beer. Simmer for about 30 minutes, until all the beer has evaporated. After cooking, arrange the thighs in a serving dish together with the sauce that has formed, add a spring of rosemary (to decorate) and serve at the table.
