Omelet roll with spinach and cooked prosciutto
The OMELET ROLL WITH SPINACH AND COOKED PROSCIUTTO is a truly delicious and scenic appetizer or main course! This dish lends itself to being served both hot and cold and is perfect in all seasons. The omelet roll, if cut into slices, is also very nice to present for an appetizer or buffet. As always, the recipe I show you does not contain milk and derivatives, in any case always check the ingredients of the cooked prosciutto. To make the omelet roll with spinach and cooked even more appetizing, if you want, you can stuff it with slices of vegan cheese to add together with the cooked before rolling the omelet.
Ingredients
3 eggs70 g cooked prosciutto, high quality150 g spinach, frozen (or 100 g fresh spinach)saltblack pepperextra virgin olive oil
Steps
First of all, cook the frozen spinach in a pan with a teaspoon of oil and a pinch of salt. Just 5-7 minutes, the time to make them wilt. Once this is done, transfer them to a colander and remove all the liquid well then cut them finely with a knife and set aside. Separately, beat the eggs with a fork and season with salt and pepper. Also add the spinach. Cook the mixture in a non-stick pan with a drizzle of oil on both sides. Once cooked, place the omelet on a sheet of parchment paper. Place the slices of cooked prosciutto on top and roll the omelet on itself. Once the roll has been created, let it rest like this for 5 minutes then remove the parchment paper and cut it into 2-3 cm slices. Served hot or cold, this spinach omelet roll is truly delicious. You can further enrich the recipe by adding slices of vegan cheese together with the cooked prosciutto before creating the roll. In this way it will be even better and will always be free of milk and derivatives.
