Sandwich with pork ham, bacon, pulled pork and Monterey Jack
Are you in the mood for something really enjoyable? What could be more transgressive than a sandwich with anything in it? It's true that the protagonist is the pulled pork, made thanks to hours and hours of cooking in the oven but this ingredient is absolutely not alone, on the contrary, it is accompanied by tomato, and bacon.
Ingredients
RUSTIC BREAD PULLED PORK 400 GrBACON (STRETCHED) 100 GrMonterey Jack 100 GrBALSAMIC VINEGAR 1 glassSUGAR 2 tablespoonsBBQ SAUCE 3 tablespoonsMUSTARD to tasteGREEN TOMATOES 2SALT to taste
For the pulled pork
FRESH HAM 4 KgEXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL 4 tablespoonsSALT to tasteBLACK PEPPER to taste
Preparation
First put the balsamic vinegar in a high-sided pan, add the sugar and the pulled pork. Let it heat up, then add the bbq sauce, stir and cover with a lid; Leave on low heat for a few minutes so that the flavors blend perfectly. Sauté the sliced bacon in a pan without adding any seasoning. In the meantime, slice the monterey Jack very very finely. At this point, transfer the crispy bacon to a plate and throw the excess fat into the pan. Now take the bread and open it into a sandwich, remove the crumb to make room for the filling. Spread a light layer of mustard on one half of the bun. Then put a pan on the stove, transfer a good part of the pulled pork (the amount you think is necessary to fill the sandwich) and heat it up. Place the monterey Jack slices on top of the pulled pork in a pan and heat so that it can melt evenly. In the meantime, slice the tomato. Place the bottom of the sandwich on the serving tray, place the pulled pork on top with the cheese on top, then arrange the tomato slices and set aside. Finish the filling with the crispy bacon, then close with the second part of bread. Serve the sandwich with the pulled pork immediately.
