Beef, broccoli, red peppers and onions
Beef strips with vegetables is one of the most common stir-fried dishes in Chinese home cooking. It is an improvised dish, easy to prepare and full of flavors. You can use vegetables that best match for you with meat. It is a dish with proteins and fibers, gluten-free and that can be served in less than 30 minutes! A beef full of flavors and soft is what it takes to make this dish special. As you can see in the beef and condiments section, I used 4 types of condiments to flavor the beef. Make sure to marinate the beef as much as necessary (at least 15 minutes, overnight if you can) so that the beef absorbs all the aromas. In addition to this, starch and baking soda will do their job of making beef tender. You can skip these two seasonings if they are not available at home.
The beauty of Chinese sautéed dishes is that there are no ingredients whose quantities you cannot adjust to your liking. You can use any seasonal vegetables or vegetables that you have available at home. Usually onion, peppers, broccoli, carrots, pak choi and so on are used. Some less common vegetables such as mushrooms, bean sprouts, asparagus are extremely valid alternatives especially if you do not know how to use them for anything else. Be creative and make the best possible use of your vegetable reserves.
