Tomato and sausage rotini
Sausage pasta and fresh cherry tomatoes is a homemade dish, where cherry tomatoes go well with the strong taste of sausage. In general, cherry tomatoes are rather used in Mediterranean cuisine as they give the dishes that touch of acidity that makes the dish more lively.
Ingredients
400 grams Short pasta
300 grams Pork sausage
200 grams cherry tomatoes
1 cloves Garlic
sliced olives to taste
Extra virgin olive oil to taste
Salt
Procedure
The procedure to prepare pasta with sausage and fresh cherry tomatoes is very simple and fast. First prepare the sausage. I used excellent village sausage by the meter. If you prefer you can use the classic sausages that you can find everywhere. The preferred type of sausage is beef, but if you prefer a less dietary dish you can also use pork. Peel the sausage by taking out the contents and cut it into small pieces. In a large pan, fry the garlic cut into small pieces with oil, add the sausage and brown over high heat. Add the cherry tomatoes cut in half, cover with the lid and sauté. Add water, add salt and cook over low heat for about 20-30 minutes. Cook the pasta in salted water. I used short homemade fusilli, but you can use any shape of short pasta. Drain the pasta al dente and pour it into the pan with the sausage sauce and cherry tomatoes. Sauté, stirring well to mix all the ingredients. Serve the pasta with sausage and fresh cherry tomatoes hot.
