Beefsteak with lots of green veggies



Good day everyone, Today a quick dish, a delicious rib, some vegetables and dinner is on the table! To continue to embrace our philosophy I opted for cooking only on the grill, so both vegetables and meat was "cooked" as little as possible with fast cooking and not with slow cooking! To give the dish a very special taste I decided to flavor everything with an oil flavored with aromatic herbs (in this case basil, rosemary, arctic mint, thyme) and finally a smoky touch with smoked oak salt! The steak with marinated vegetables, is a quick and easy second course with a vegetable side dish. First, the vegetables are cooked and marinated for a couple of hours with rosemary and extra virgin olive oil. Subsequently, the sirloin is seared, and served with the marinated vegetables. This dish is perfect to serve during a family dinner or lunch: accompanied with a mixed salad, French fries and a good glass of white wine, it will make everyone happy. Ingredients

1 Rib steak of about 600 gr
2 eggplants
3/4 zucchini
3 endive tufts
to taste Herbs
EVO Oil to taste 
Smoked oak salt to taste 

Cooking instructions

This recipe is very very simple and fast, first wash and peel the aubergines and zucchini, with the help of a mandolin or with a knife get 4/5 mm thick slices, grill them gradually on a very hot grill until cooked, as they are ready put them on a plate and if you want toss it with a little smoked oak salt, Finally, cut the endive in half and grill it too. When the vegetables are ready, prepare the flavored oil, put the aromatic herbs you have chosen in a glass suitable for an immersion blender after washing them quickly, put some EVO oil and blend well and keep aside. Finally, cook the meat, dry it well (I recommend the meat at room temperature, take it out at least an hour before) then cook it about 3 minutes per side on a hot grill, turning them only once. Once cooked, put it on a remove and let it rest for a couple of minutes then escalate the meat. Compose the dish by putting the grilled vegetables and scalloped meat, seasoned with flavored oil and smoked oak salt!
