Chicken nuggets with gorgonzola
Chicken nuggets with gorgonzola are a delicious idea for a different meat main course than usual. Similar to rolls and with a creamy heart that gives an extra edge, even better because they cook in a short time in a pan. Try them for family dinner, you will never abandon them. For a dinner ready in less than an hour or for a tasty lunch, chicken nuggets with gorgonzola are always delicious and will win you over with their soft filling. The recipe for preparing them is easy and will give you a lot of satisfaction: thanks above all to the heart of sweet Gorgonzola that will melt in the pan and give a boost of taste to these chicken rolls. The slices of meat are rolled up after stuffing them with endive leaves and Gorgonzola, for a fresh and tasty filling, perfect together with the delicacy of chicken meat.
Ingredients
8 slices of chicken breast
200 g of sweet Gorgonzola
8 leaves of curly endive
100 g flour
1 clove of garlic
20 g butter
fresh sage
200 ml dry white wine
60 g shelled walnuts
salt
Pepper
Preparation
To prepare chicken nuggets with gorgonzola, first spread the chicken slices on a cutting board and beat them gently with the help of a meat mallet to make them thinner and more regular. Place a endive leaf on top of each slice, leaving 1 cm of free edge all around. Add a tablespoon of sweet Gorgonzola to the center of each slice. Then roll each slice of chicken on itself, creating bites, and secure them with a toothpick. Dip the morsels in flour so as to cover them evenly, remove the excess. Heat a generous knob of butter in a non-stick pan with a clove of garlic and a few leaves of sage. Place the morsels on top and brown them on all sides over high heat. When they are golden brown, deglaze with white wine. Cook them for about 20 minutes with the lid on, over medium heat, turning them occasionally. If the bottom is too wet, in the last minutes of cooking remove the lid and let it dry, it should become a cream. Once cooked, season with salt and pepper and serve the chicken nuggets with gorgonzola with coarsely chopped walnuts.
