Goat cheese and grilled peaches bruschetta
The goat cheese and grilled peaches bruschetta with thyme almonds is a late summer appetizer to amaze guests. On the market stalls you can still find beautiful peaches so why not use them to prepare tasty bruschetta? I grilled the peaches, then I combined them with fresh goat's cheese, homemade salted almonds with thyme and finally a few drops of chestnut honey. The protagonist of this month is thyme, an aromatic herb that can also be grown in pots. I often use thyme in my savory recipes, but very rarely in desserts and fruit dishes. Thyme goes very well with peaches and is perfect for flavoring salted almonds.
