Bundles of green beans and mushrooms au gratin with bacon
Cooking for me is a creative art and above all the place to give space to my imagination, to bring together my ideas: therefore I find it very important, to stimulate my creations and above all to never waste anything, to devote myself to recycled recipes. For this reason I propose tasty bacon and green bean rolls, pretty bouquets with a strong flavor thanks to the bacon and grated cheese and an excellent solution to reuse leftovers, but also to start from scratch with a recipe that even children will like! Green bean and bacon rolls are made by cooking green beans, dividing them into groups and wrapping them in bacon. Here are the steps of the green bean and bacon rolls recipe.
Ingredients
4 large button mushrooms
3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
1 clove of garlic
8 slices of thinly sliced rolled bacon
Parsley to taste
Salt and pepper to taste
Extra virgin olive oil to taste
200 gr. green beans
Grated Parmesan cheese to taste
Preparation
For the green bean bundles: wash and remove the ends of the green beans, and cook them in boiling water for about 8 minutes, taking care to leave them crispy and al dente, pull them up with a slotted spoon and cool them immediately in cold water. Prepare bundles with four or five green beans and roll them in a slice of bacon each. Place the rolls obtained in a pan with baking paper and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and au gratin in a hot oven at 180 ° C for a few minutes, until the cheese is melted and the bacon crispy. For the mushrooms: clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth and remove the stem. With a teaspoon or a digger, dig the inside of the chapels and keep the scraps aside. In a bowl, mix the internal scraps of the mushrooms with the breadcrumbs, parsley, crushed garlic clove, salt, pepper and 3 tablespoons of oil and mix everything. Place a slice of bacon on each cap, fill the hollow with the prepared mixture and place in a lightly greased baking dish, drizzle with a drizzle of oil and bake at 180°C for 10 minutes on the medium-high shelf and 5 minutes on the grill setting. Serve the stuffed mushrooms au gratin with bacon still very hot accompanied with the green bean bundles.
