Trofie with speck pepper cream and walnuts
Pasta with walnuts, pepper cream and speck is a truly delicious and tasty first course. While you wait for the water to boil and then the pasta to cook, we can prepare the sauce. The recipe is very simple and quick to make. It tastes great and is very creamy. The smokiness of the speck goes well with the sweetness of the pepper. Pasta with walnuts, pepper cream and speck will appeal to everyone in the family.
INGREDIENTS
500 g of fresh trofie
100 g bacon, cut into slightly thick slices
Traditional Olive Oil
1 jar of Walnut Sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Cut the slices of speck into strips that are not too long, 2-3 centimeters, brown them in a pan with a drizzle of Traditional Olive Oil until they are crispy. In the meantime, cook the trofie (alternatively you can also use gnocchi) in plenty of salted water, drain them al dente and season them, in a tureen, with the Walnut Sauce diluted with 4-5 tablespoons of pasta cooking water. Finally, before serving, garnish the dish with the crispy slices of speck. If desired, sprinkle black pepper powder on the pasta.
