Mediterranean-style beef tartare

Mediterranean beef tartare is a tasty appetizer made with raw meat and typical ingredients of the gastronomic culture of the south: sun-dried tomatoes, capers, olives and anchovies. A fresh idea to also offer as a main course, perhaps for a dinner for two. The beef, traditionally beaten with a knife, is served with chopped black olives, capers, sun-dried tomatoes and anchovies: intense flavors that make the Mediterranean tartare a perfect appetizer.

INGREDIENTS

250 g beef (rump, fillet or loin)
2 anchovies
1 tablespoon chopped sun-dried tomatoes in oil
1 tbsp chopped olives
1 tbsp chopped capers
extra virgin olive oil
salt
Pepper

STEPS

To prepare the Mediterranean beef tartare, if you have bought a whole piece of meat, proceed to cut it with a knife. Chop capers, olives, sun-dried tomatoes and anchovies. Add the mince to the meat and season with extra virgin olive oil. Mix well and season with salt and pepper. With the help of a pastry cutter, placed in the center of the plate, arrange the meat with a spoon, compact it and level it. Gently remove the ring and the Mediterranean beef tartare is ready.
