Pizzaiola bread cannoli



PIZZAIOLA BREAD CANNOLI are a quick and easy recipe. Rolls made of sliced bread, filled with mozzarella and tomato, breaded and then baked in the oven, until crispy and stringy. Filled delicacies, to be enjoyed for a dinner with family or friends. They can be prepared in a short time and without any difficulty. You can enrich them with cooked ham, frankfurters or grilled vegetables.

Today I'm going to make you hungry with these super cannoli of pizzaiola bread cooked in an air fryer! Isn't your mouth watering already? These cannoli are delicious and... super streamlined! Ingredients

5 slices Sandwich bread
2 Eggs
Breadcrumbs
2 mozzarella
5 tbsp Tomato puree 
1 pinch Salt
Oregano

Preparation

To prepare the CANNOLI ALLA PIZZAIOLA start by cutting the slices of bread for sandwiches, in half. You need to get 10 squares. With the help of a rolling pin, flatten each slice. Separately, cut the mozzarella into cubes and mix it, in a bowl, with a few tablespoons of tomato puree, 1 tablespoon of oil and a pinch of salt and oregano. Place, obliquely, in the center of each square of bread, a little of the mozzarella-based filling. Close, forming a cannoli. At the end, gently dip all the CANNOLI ALLA PIZZAIOLA first in the beaten eggs and then in the breadcrumbs. Gradually place the CANNOLI ALLA PIZZAIOLA on a baking tray covered with parchment paper and then bake them in a preheated oven at 190°C for about 15 minutes. They should become golden and crispy. At the end of cooking, take the CANNOLI ALLA PIZZAIOLA out of the oven and serve them immediately, hot and stringy.
