Sandwich with cheese and salami

Sandwiches with salami are excellent appetizers for children's parties. Now that Christmas is approaching, they are ideal. Try them and you'll see that there won't be a single one left. You can also use them for trips out of town. Okay, it sounds simple but it's not. Because you can have fun and amaze your guests with the combinations: pork and therefore salami goes perfectly with vegetables (broccoli, artichokes, beets, cabbage, cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, potatoes, celery, pumpkin, asparagus) and spices (chili pepper - Calabria teaches! -, sage, rosemary, thyme, coriander seeds, ginger, anise). Don't underestimate the classic pairings with cheeses, perhaps the most successful pairing in the history of pairings. A mixed platter of cold cuts and cheeses is always a certainty! But if you're looking for a snack or a dish that everyone can agree on, aim for the salami sandwich. Simple things are by no means trivial: choosing the right salami can completely turn the situation around. Seeing is believing!

Ingredients

buns
machine-cut salami
toothpick

Procedure

Divide the buns in half and stuff the bottom with two slices of salami, close them, put the toothpick to keep it together, put them on a tray and serve. I didn't give the quantities because you have to see how many children there are. Plan to make at least two sandwiches per child. If, on the other hand, you prepare them for the adult party, prepare even three each, we grown-ups eat much more. You can replace the salami with cooked ham, raw ham, bresaola, mortadella or any other cured meat to your liking. You can also add cheese to your liking. For the party you can also prepare these appetizers: savory croissants, excellent finger food, simple and very tasty; or frankfurters and provola muffins, which are very appetizing. Now organize the shopping list, buy the ingredients and then everyone goes to the kitchen to prepare the recipes for the party! What are you waiting for?
