Roasted chicken leg on pasta
Pasta with roasted chicken is an easy and tasty solution to repurpose leftover chicken. Pasta with roast chicken is a flavorful and hearty main course. The recipe is simple and is ideal for when you have leftover roast chicken and don't know what to do with it. My recipe also includes the use of thyme, a fragrant herb that will give the dish a touch of freshness. Here's how to prepare it.
Ingredients
Roast Chicken leg
Butter 50 g
Fresh thyme
Pasta (spaghetti) 400 g
Grated Parmesan cheese
Water to taste
Reduced meat broth or meat sauce
Preparation
Clean the roasted chicken leg with your hands. In a frying pan, heat some of the ready-made meat cooking juices and add the chicken leg. Let it flavor, add a little fresh thyme and butter and stir carefully to mix all the ingredients. Add the previously blanched pasta, a little hot water and a little Parmesan cheese (depending on your taste). Cook, turning everything to prevent it from burning. Serve the pasta with a few leaves of fresh thyme.
Note
To store the pasta, you need to put it in an airtight container and store it in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
