Cheesy nachos

Nachos are a snack that originated in Mexico and is typical of Tex Mex cuisine. They are prepared with corn tortillas that you can find in all supermarkets in bags like chips. Served as an appetizer or on the sofa in front of a good movie, they are delicious and tasty! I have eaten them seasoned like this in those places of Mexican cuisine that I love! Try them!

Fancy a stringy, tasty and spicy appetizer snack? For a rock'n roll appetizer there is no better dish than a serving of loaded nachos, where loaded stands for loads of everything! Take the nachos, the most famous tortilla chips of Mexican cuisine and tex mex in general, now load them with hearty chili with freshly made meat, fresh guacamole, sour cream and a stringy cheddar or gruyere cheese. All you have to do is uncork a cold beer and enjoy the appetizer. To prepare stringy nachos is not difficult, follow the steps and don't forget to put your favorite playlist in the background!

INGREDIENTS

1/2 bag of corn tortillas
150g cheddar cheese (or a cheese that blends well, such as fontina, mozzarella.. DO NOT use cheese slices for toast)
100g diced smoked bacon
Mexican salsa or guacamole

PREPARATION

There's not much you can do about this recipe!! It's super fast and you can customize it however you like! Pour the tortillas into a nice large plate, so that they don't overlap much. Cut the cheese into very small pieces or grate it with a grater with large holes. Spread it over the tortillas, add the bacon cubes and place in the microwave for 30-50 seconds (depending on your microwave) or until the cheese has melted. Not too much otherwise the tortillas will harden. Serve immediately with Mexican salsa or guacamole or the sauce of your choice!

Note
If you prefer, you can also bake them in the oven in a baking dish, under a few minutes of grilling. I would recommend this option if there are many of you and you want to prepare a lot at once. (The microwave has more limited space, and you have to cook half a packet of tortillas at a time).
