Basmati rice with peppers and walnuts
Today I present a recipe with basmati rice that involves the addition of peppers and walnuts, a perfect recipe both in winter and summer. For those who love vegetables, this first course will be very tasty and simple. Eating healthy is the basis of every state of well-being and therefore eating vegetables is essential. This is a complete first course for both carbohydrates and fiber and omega 3 thanks to nuts.
Ingredients
300 g basmati rice
4 peppers
4 tablespoons walnut kernels
olive oil
salt
chili pepper
Procedure
We wash the peppers, remove filaments and seeds and cut them into small pieces. Take a pan with oil and sauté the peppers adjusting salt and pepper or chilli according to taste. We grind the walnuts and meanwhile boil the rice in salted water. We take a large container and put the rice inside mixing it with peppers and walnuts that we have made very floury. Mix everything well and finish with a sprinkling of fresh parsley. We serve it and bon appetit!
