Zucchini chips
Zucchini chips it's hard to resist the temptation not to eat them all as long as you fry them! With this delicacy you will certainly satisfy both the tastes of children and those of adults. These chips are very simple to make and require very few ingredients. They are ideal to offer to friends with an appetizer.
Ingredients
400 g zucchini
150 gre-milled durum wheat semolina
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
500 m lpeanut oil (or sunflower) oil
salt
Preparation
To make these chips choose rather small and tender zucchini, wash and dry them, remove the stem and trim the base. Using a mandolin slice them thinly, taking into account that the thickness must be a couple of millimeters. In a bowl put the flour, preferably durum wheat semolina and, if you like the taste, mix together with the flour 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric. Pass all the zucchini slices in the semolina. In a pan heat plenty of oil for frying and when it is hot, about 170 °C, dip a few slices at a time, let them cook a few moments, then turn them and fry them for a few more seconds. They are so thin that it takes very little for them to become crispy. Drain them as you fry them on kitchen paper towels and sprinkle with a little salt. Just a few minutes of commitment to give life at home to this little delicacy that can accompany you throughout the summer and beyond.
