Portobello mushroom fries

They are Portobello mushrooms, very large, which belong to the Champignon family. Cut them into thick slices and then bread them, they are delicious as an appetizer, delicious as a side dish and basically also low in calories, because mushrooms are rich in water.

PROCEDURE First we prepare three bowls: one with the beaten egg with a pinch of salt, one with flour and another with breadcrumbs. Then cut the mushrooms into slices a little thick. Now we pass the mushroom slices first in the flour, then in the beaten egg. Finally in breadcrumbs. Once they are all ready, heat a pan with peanut oil. When the oil is hot, fry a few mushrooms at a time so as not to lower the temperature of the oil. As soon as they become golden brown, drain them on kitchen paper and salt them only when you have finished frying. Needless to say, these delicious breaded fried mushrooms should be eaten freshly fried, hot and crispy.
