🤩Angus beef fillet with chocolate sauce and potatoes au gratin 🤩 



It is one of the dishes served at the lunch offered by the US Senate in honor of Donald Trump to celebrate the beginning of his presidency. 

Ingredients

MEAT
4 fillet hearts of 150 gr. everyone
80 g butter
salt and pepper

CHOCOLATE SAUCE
2 tablespoons Madeira wine
100 ml beef broth
150 g dark chocolate
salt
a knob of butter

Guidelines

In a non-stick pan melt the butter and, when it begins to sizzle, cook the 4 fillets over high heat, two minutes on each side, so that they come rather to the blood, salt them, pepper them and keep them warm. Always in the same pan, melt the cooking funds of the meat with two tablespoons of Madeira, then add the broth and bring to a boil so that the liquid is reduced by half. Add the dark chocolate to a knob of butter and mix well so as to obtain a smooth and homogeneous sauce. Add salt to taste and serve poured over the meat. Accompany your fillets with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
