Umani Ronchi Medoro Marche Sangiovese

Detailed info
Leader in the Marche region, the Umani Ronchi estate offers Medoro, a cuvée highlighting Sangiovese, the most planted grape variety in Italy. Organically grown, the wine is partly aged in oak barrels for a few months, while the rest preserves all its fruitiness in stainless steel vats. The final blend therefore offers a beautiful balance with accents of ripe fruit, cherry and spices. Versatile, it will accompany pizza as well as tomato-flavoured dishes and grilled meats.

Tasting note
The color is garnet with a little transparency. Sweet and sour fruitiness, including framboise in strawberries. Is it a little tanned leather scent? There is also a richness that seems to calm down a little. It is a wine with characteristics typical of Sangiovese, but it is calm and well put together, so I think it is a good wine compared to the price.

Wine experts think this Central Italy Red wine would be a match made in heaven with these dishes. Bon appétit!
