Sangria: My Favourite Fruit🍇
Sangria is one of the easiest and most delicious summer wine cocktails you can make from whatever fruit and wine you have on hand. Traditional Sangria is made with red wine, however, newer variations are made with white, rosé, and sparkling wines and are just as delicious as the traditional red wine Sangria.
Tips on making great Sangria
🍹Make a full pitcher = 4 – 6 cups.🍹Use an entire bottle of wine.🍹Use inexpensive wines – under $20.🍹Stick with the Spanish wines.🍹Use local or frozen fruit such as peaches, nectarines, berries, cherries, oranges, lemons, grapefruit, grapes, etc.🍹Flavoured sparkling waters or sodas (7-Up, Sprite, San Pellegrino).🍹Add simple syrup, sugar or keto-friendly sweeter if you like it sweeter.🍹Brandy, Grand Marnier, or other flavoured liquors can also be added.🍹Spices can be added such as a cinnamon stick.🍹Add herbs such as mint or basil.🍹Muddle everything together and let it chill for at least one hour.🍹Add ice to the glass and pour from the pitcher to avoid watering down.
Cheers!
