Egg peppers




Hello friends, today I propose a tasty idea to present eggs and peppers in colorful and tasty dish that will appeal even to the little ones. Easy to prepare, in fact it can be said that this is not a real recipe, it is just a suggestion of how to compose the classic last-minute fried egg for dinner. The ingredients, therefore, are just peppers and the eggs that usually never fails in every home. Choose peppers that have an irregular circumference, and if you have used more colors, in this way the spectacular effect will be even more exciting. 

The peppers with eggs are a really nice and colorful idea to serve eggs to the bull's eye! The eggs are in fact cooked inside peppers (red, yellow and green), which are cut into rounds, thus taking the form of colorful flowers. This recipe, an original idea for a Sunday brunch or for a quick lunch, can be made with normal eggs. Fried eggs in pepper bloom are a cheerful and different way to bring the usual eggs to the table. INGREDIENTS

Eggs 8
Half green pepper
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Extra virgin olive oil 2 Tablespoons
Red pepper half
Yellow pepper half

To prepare the flowers of peppers with eggs, start by washing the peppers well: choose peppers that do not have a straight and regular circumference, cutting them into slices must have the shape of a flower. Cut them into slices about 2 cm thick with a sharp knife and remove the central part of the slices. Proceed in the same way with red, yellow and green peppers. Brush a non-stick pan with a little extra virgin olive oil and when it is hot, put the pepper slices, let them burn for a few seconds on one side and then turn them on the other side. Break an egg in a bowl, being careful not to break the yolk and then always very gently pour it into the pepper slice. Proceed in the same way with the other eggs. At this point cover with a lid and cook the eggs over medium heat, turning off the heat when the egg has reached the degree of cooking you want. Finally salt and pepper to taste and, for a more precise result, remove any egg white leaked from the edges of the peppers. Serve the pepper flowers with eggs immediately!
