Octopus and mantis shrimps with linguine🤩🤩

Do you know shrimp? Also known by the name of cobs or mantis
are shellfish that are not widely used in the kitchen because they are unpleasant to clean. 😉 But they are very tasty and, I wanted to redo them hoping for the same result, maybe I succeeded! Linguine with shrimp, mantis as you want to call them, are a very quick first course to prepare, and this does not hurt, tasty but at the same time delicate, a dish that will also be appreciated by the little ones in the house. For linguine with shrimp I used frozen ones, but fresh fish, you know, is another story! But with some precautions even frozen fish is not bad and you do not feel the typical aftertaste of frozen fish. Let's see how I prepared them...

Ingredients for 2 people

300 g frozen shrimp
160 g linguine
200 g tomato pulp
1 clove of garlic
extra virgin olive oil
chili pepper or pepper
salt to taste
parsley
white wine to taste

Wash and clean the shrimp (10 for two people) and make an incision with scissors along the body; heat extra virgin olive oil in a pan with a piece of grated shallot, add the shellfish, brown for two-three minutes and deglaze with a little white wine; Add a tablespoon of tomato puree, just to give a little color, a pinch of curry and chili powder. Cook a few minutes. Cook the linguine al dente and, without draining them much, pour them into the pan with the shellfish, stir over high heat and gently for a couple of minutes, adding chopped parsley and, possibly, a drizzle of oil and / or pasta water. Serve immediately. Linguine with shrimp are ready to be enjoyed... ENJOY YOUR MEAL!
