Spaghetti butter, anchovies and orange



I created this orange pasta with butter and anchovies just yesterday! 😀 Some time ago I had seen something similar but that involved the addition of other ingredients including orange juice. I decided to prepare it like this, simple: butter, anchovies, the grated rind of an orange and toasted breadcrumbs. To tell the truth, I must also say that yesterday I did not really want to cook so I opted for a first course that was ready in the shortest possible time! 😉 The result? Excellent, tasty and refined! 😀 Spaghetti with orange and anchovies, a strange combination to say, but delicious to eat. A delicious first course out of the ordinary, strange combinations to think about, but much better once after the first taste. It is a very simple and quick recipe that, with an almost exotic touch, will pleasantly amaze your diners. It does not have too refined tastes, indeed, it is the spaghetti with orange and anchovies are very simple in the ingredients.

Ingredients

200 gr. pasta
40 gr. butter
10 anchovy fillets 
grated rind of 1 large orange
breadcrumbs
olive oil
salt
Pepper

Preparation

First boil the water and meanwhile toast the breadcrumbs. Toasting breadcrumbs is very simple. Pour a little oil into a non-stick pan, let it heat a little, then add the breadcrumbs and mix it. Toast the breadcrumbs over low heat and continue stirring with a spoon. When the breadcrumbs have a nice amber color, pour it into a small bowl. As soon as you roll down the pasta, melt the butter in a saucepan and as soon as it has melted add the anchovy fillets. With the back of a spoon break the anchovies until they have melted. At this point grate the zest of an orange after washing and drying and add it to the butter with the anchovies. Be careful not to grate the white part of the orange that is bitter! As soon as the pasta is cooked, transfer it to the saucepan over moderate heat with butter and anchovies and turn it in such a way as to make it flavor, add half a ladle of cooking water and as soon as it is reabsorbed serve the pasta on the plates. Sprinkle the orange pasta with butter and anchovies with abundant toasted breadcrumbs, sprinkle with a little black pepper and decorate with grated orange peel.
