Shrimp Scampi with clams, garlic and tomatoes



Pasta clams and scampi a recipe for a first course of seafood very easy to prepare, very tasty and that will make you look great, this is just a great dish. For those looking for the ideal recipe to surprise the loved one with a tasty romantic dinner: here is the pasta with scampi and clams. Ingredients

Clams 500 g
Norway lobster 300 g
Extra virgin olive oil to taste
Garlic 1 clove
White wine 1 small glass
Cherry tomatoes 5
Parsley to taste
Oregano to taste
Salt to taste
Pasta 180 g

Preparation

Soak the clams with water and coarse salt for a few hours then rinse them 2 or 3 times. Wash the scampi some leave them whole and the others shell them and remove the head but without throwing it away. Put the clams on the fire in a pan with the lid until they are open, remove them from the pan and set aside. Strain with a mesh strainer the liquid of the opening of the clams and set it aside. In the same pan brown the oil with the garlic, add the scampi both whole and shelled and also the heads and clams, brown a little crushing the heads of the scampi so that they release all their flavor, add the wine and let it evaporate. When the wine has evaporated, remove the heads of the scampi, add the cherry tomatoes cut into pieces, salt (a little) and oregano and cook for about ten minutes. If you need to add water you can use that of clams. Cook the pasta in salted water, drain it al dente and pour it into the pan with the clams and scampi, add a little of the water of the clams that we had set aside and mix well, when it is almost dried add the chopped parsley and a drizzle of oil still mix and serve.
