Spaghetti garlic chili oil and prawns ❤️ 🔥
Yummy and very delicate! A dish full of colors but also of flavors. I give you just one piece of advice: prepare plenty of them because I'm sure you'll do at least an encore. This dish is nothing more than a variant of the classic garlic oil and chili pepper with the addition of some seafood ingredients: the shrimp tails that are very sweet and very delicate and the anchovy sauce, a product of Campania origin, exactly from Cetara, a village on the Amalfi Coast.
To me, nothing says “Mediterranean diet” better than olive oil, garlic and spicy red pepper. From these cornerstone ingredients, along with juicy vine-ripened tomatoes, pours forth authentic southern Italian cuisine. Along with garlic — the “Queen of the kitchen” — extra-virgin olive oil and spicy red pepper, we’ll throw in some prawns, sauté it all together and pour it over, around and through al dente strands of spaghetti.
INGREDIENTS
140 Gr Spaghetti
14 Shrimp tails
1 segment Garlic
1 spoon Anchovy sauce
Extra virgin olive oil to taste
Pepper to taste
3 Tablespoons Dry white wine
1 chili pepper optional
1 Lime
Parsley to taste
GUIDELINES
Clean the shrimp tails well, depriving them of the casing. Place them on a sheet of plastic wrap and cover them with another sheet of film. With a meat mallet flatten them. Remove the film. And season with lime juice, salt and a drizzle of oil. Leave in the refrigerator. In a pan heat a couple of tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil together with chopped garlic and sliced chili. Sprinkle with a little dry white wine and let evaporate. Add the anchovy sauce. And a handful of parsley. Turn off while the pasta is cooking. Cook the spaghetti al dente in salted water. Sauté them in a pan with a few tablespoons of pasta cooking water. Then, once the heat is off, pour the marinated shrimp and serve immediately.
Here is your prawns, garlic oil and chili. Enjoy your meal!
Tip
Our body can benefit from the regular consumption of chili peppers, given its beneficial effects that derive from the fact that it is able to stimulate blood circulation and thin the blood, thus reducing the risk of strokes and heart attacks. Chili peppers also help reduce blood cholesterol levels. The capsaicin contained in chili pepper is also a substance with a relaxing effect on the body that helps to get rid of stress Capsaicin is also a thermogenic compound that raises the metabolism, which allows you to burn fat more quickly. Some people believe that there are close links between heartburn and chili pepper, in reality it is not as harmful to this type of pathology as it is thought, in fact it contains substances with stomachic action, which favor the secretion of gastric juices promoting the digestive processes.
