Seasoned bread, a tasty recipe
I love these morsels of seasoned bread. They are quick to prepare, very easy and really very tasty. A great finger food that everyone really likes. Try to put them on the table and you will see that they will evaporate in the blink of an eye.
Ingredients
Baguette bread
bocconcini cheese
tomato pulp to taste
Pesto alla Genovese to taste
salted capers to taste
Salt to taste
Preparation
In the list of ingredients, I have not specified the quantities because they depend on how many morsels of seasoned bread you want to prepare. Reading the recipe you will realize, in fact, that you can dose them a little "by the eye". Cut the baguette into oblique slices with a thickness of about 1.5 cm. In a small bowl, mix a little tomato pulp with a few tablespoons of pesto alla genovese and a pinch of salt. Desalinate the capers under running water and dry them by dabbing them with kitchen paper. Spread a tablespoon of tomato + pesto over the croutons, then add 1 or 2 capers and add the cheese once out of the oven. Gradually arrange the croutons on the baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for a few minutes, until the bread is toasted. These morsels of seasoned bread should preferably be enjoyed hot.
Enjoy!
