Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Spumante Extra Dry Millesimatte Vigne Matte
This wine, born from the selection of the best Glera grapes, presents a straw yellow color with a lively, persistent, and fine perlage. The aroma is elegant, reminiscent of meadow flowers, pleasantly fruity with hints of apple, pear, and peach. There are pronounced mineral notes. On the palate, it is savory, full, balanced, with a contained sweetness accompanied by intense and elegant fruitiness. Vigne Matte Spumante Extra Dry Millesimatte is a white semi-dry prosecco from Italian Veneto. Produced from the Glera strain.
Pairings
To fully appreciate its delicate nuances, Millesimatte deserves to be tasted on its own. However, its pronounced smoothness and varietal character also make it very enjoyable at the table with delicate seafood and land dishes.
Tasting note
It is a light, straw colored wine with incredibly aromatic fruits in the background. In the nose, you can feel apples, pears or peaches, and the whole is complemented by floral notes. In the mouth, prosecco is pleasant, full-bodied and intensely fruity. The long finish is memorable. Ideal as an aperitif. It tastes best when chilled.
