Mediterranean Tuna Salad
It is a simple salad with a Mediterranean taste. It is a light single dish suitable especially in summer.
Ingredients
100 g. of natural tuna4 tomatoes 10 Taggiasca olives 2 peppers1 head of lettuce 2 anchovies1 clove of garlic 1 tablespoon of capers basil leaves 4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil salt pepper
Preparation
Peel the lettuce, wash it and cut off the largest leaves. Peel the other vegetables: cut the tomatoes into wedges, the peppers into strips. In a salad bowl, combine all the vegetables. Chop the tuna with a fork and add it to the vegetables in the salad bowl. Add the anchovies. Wash and dry some basil leaves, then chop them together with the garlic clove. In a bowl, emulsify the oil with a pinch of pepper and a pinch of salt and add the chopped basil and garlic. Season the salad with the prepared dressing and stir to mix well. Decorate with whole capers and serve at the table.
