Scopette salate

Savory Befana brooms for delicious and very scenic appetizer. They are the right appetizers for the little ones of the house to be served on the occasion of the Epiphany festival. The savory Befana copes, also known as witches' brooms, are made with a salty and crunchy stick that goes well with cooked or raw prosciutto or salami and slices of pasta filata. In a single solution we can bring to the table a very appetizing and fun appetizer. A perfect recipe for a New Year's Eve appetizer or for an informal dinner with friends, the savory Befana brooms are delicious and loved by adults and children, very tasty. Let's see together how to proceed... 😉

Ingredients

16 pretzel sticks
8 slices of stretched curd cheese or slices
3 slices of cooked or raw prosciutto
chives if you like

Procedure

Cut the slices of pasta filata or slices in half and, with a sharp knife, make small cuts to create a fringe that should not be detached from the edge. Roll the prepared cheese fringe around the salted sticks. Cut small strips of cooked prosciutto and wrap the end of the cheese fringe. The Befana's brooms are ready to be served. They can be stored in the fridge.
