Breaded cod fillets

There are more and more quick recipes, alternating with the traditional ones and the more laborious ones. Sometimes they are simple ideas, more or less improvised and invented, which allow you to answer the question "what do I prepare for dinner" in a few minutes. On the other hand, the passion for cooking, without time, remains just an idea. But with a little inventiveness, in the few minutes available you can bring something delicious to the table. For example, breaded cod fillets. Breaded cod fillets are easily sold ready and frozen in supermarkets. And most importantly, do they take very little time to prepare? There's no reason to hold back: breaded cod fillets are a quick and tasty dinner-saving idea; Just accompany them with a quick side dish and dinner is soon done.

INGREDIENTS

4 cod fillets
2 eggs
a few tablespoons of flour
a few tablespoons of breadcrumbs seed
oil for frying

PROCEDURE

If using frozen cod fillets, allow them to thaw and soften. Prepare what you need for the breading: on a plate, spread a few tablespoons of flour; in a bowl, break the two eggs and beat them quickly with a fork; In a second dish, put the breadcrumbs. Bread the cod fillets, first dipping them in flour, coating them thoroughly (this will prevent the breading from coming off during cooking), then dipping them in the egg and finally in the breadcrumbs. In a large frying pan, heat plenty of oil and, when it is hot, dip the fillets in it and fry them until golden brown, on both sides. Transfer the breaded cod fillets to paper towels to remove excess oil. If you prefer, you can make them in the oven, placing them on a baking sheet greased with extra virgin olive oil, baking them in a preheated oven at 190°C for about 10-15 minutes, or in any case until golden brown, taking care to turn them halfway through cooking to even out the browning.
