Whole baked cauliflower 




Cauliflower should not be missing in your winter menus: it is a vegetable rich in properties, vitamins and mineral salts, excellent for preventing seasonal ills. You can cook it in different recipes but preparing whole cauliflower in the oven is perhaps the easiest and at the same time spectacular way to bring it to the table! You can serve the whole avolfiore as a side dish but also as a main course accompanied by some sauce and toast. It is such a beautiful dish that it will make its good impression even as a course in the Christmas menu. Clean the cauliflower by removing the outer leaves of the cauliflower and rinse it well under fresh water. Season it outside and inside all the buds and put it in the oven for 60 minutes covered with aluminum foil; Then you can put it in the oven with grill function for a couple of minutes more. Anyway today I decided to prepare a whole cauliflower seasoned in the oven a simple side dish delicious and suitable for many different types of second courses!

INGREDIENTS

1 cauliflower of 800g
2 tablespoons mustard
1 tablespoon paprika powder
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1/2 tablespoon dried oregano
parsley
extra virgin olive oil
white vinegar
salt
Pepper

PREPARATION

To prepare the baked cauliflower take a large cauliflower and remove all the outer leaves; Wash it thoroughly under fresh water and put it to dry on absorbent paper. In a bowl emulsify 4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil with mustard and add the cumin seeds, paprika, oregano, vinegar. Season with salt and pepper. With this emulsion season all the cauliflower by penetrating the ingredients between the florets. Meanwhile, turn on the oven and preheat to 200 ° C. Cover the cauliflower with aluminum foil and place it on a saucepan. Bake for 55 minutes, then remove the aluminum foil and cook with grill function for another 5 minutes. Serve hot with toast and mayonnaise.
