Beef liver and onions



The liver with onion is a very simple dish to make with very few ingredients, you can choose according to taste pork liver or beef, or veal the latter much more tender than the others.

Ingredients 

1 medium-sized onion
350 g liver slices 
olive oil to taste
salt to taste
pepper to taste

Preparation

Peel the onion and cut into thin slices. Put a pan on the fire, let it heat for a few minutes with oil and onion, stirring with a wooden spoon, until the onion is wilted, now lay on the onion the liver slices, which must have a thickness of about half a centimeter. Now cook the liver over medium heat with a lid, if necessary dilute with a little boiling water, evaporate all the water, and serve the liver slices with the onion sauce, and a nice mashed potatoes prepared previously.
