Bacon wrapped shrimp

A truly original and surprising combination that gives life to a delicious dish suitable for all occasions, especially special ones. Shrimp wrapped in bacon is a simple and tasty appetizer, it can be prepared in just 20 minutes and can also be made at the last moment. The secret to the success of this delicious and original recipe is to use good quality ingredients: we choose large and fleshy shrimps and soft and not excessively fatty bacon. The combination of prawns and bacon is really tasty, if we have guests who have never tried it they will be ecstatic and we will make a great impression! A simple and somewhat gourmet idea to show off at lunches and dinners with family and friends or on special occasions.

The recipe is very easy: if we buy fresh shrimp whole, as I did, we must first clean them by removing the head, tail, carapace and intestines. If, on the other hand, we buy the shrimp already cleaned, we can skip this step. To make the dish, all we have to do is roll the shrimp in bacon and then form skewers into wooden sticks. Move everything to the pan, season with salt, pepper and oil and bake in the oven for a quarter of an hour. The recipe for prawns with bacon is really quick and easy and can be served in many different ways, we have made skewers but we can also offer the shrimp individually together with other appetizers. I recommend serving them hot, ideally you should enjoy them just out of the oven so that you have soft shrimp and slightly crispy bacon.

Preservation
I recommend cooking prawns and bacon in the right measure to prevent any left. Inevitably, flavor and texture will suffer with the passage of time and that's really a shame. I provide a maximum of two or three prawns per person as an appetizer, in order to avoid waste and to enjoy them when they are at their best.
