To top it all off we added some irresistible cubes of toasted bread: a real treat that is impossible to resist! So all we have to do is find out how to prepare the appetizing fig salad!
Ingredients
4 figs
1 bunch of rocket
2 slices of raw prosciutto
1 goat's cheese
bread 3 slices of sandwich bread
to taste extra virgin olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
To prepare the fig salad, we must first wash the rocket carefully under running water and dry it with the appropriate salad spinner. Once the rocket has been washed, place it in a salad bowl and add the raw ham, removed from the fat and cut into thin strips. Peel the figs, slice them and add them to the rest. For a better yield, we recommend using fully ripe but still firm figs. We cut the goat's cheese into small cubes and also add it to the rocket and fig salad, after which we mix everything with a spoon. Toast three slices of bread and then cut them into cubes. Pour a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil into a non-stick pan, add the bread cubes and let them brown for a few moments, until they are quite crunchy. Add the toasted bread to the salad and season everything with a pinch of salt and ground black pepper to taste.
