Focaccia sandwich 👌👍💯
This appetizer that I propose today is original, to be stuffed as you prefer and if you have the pasta ready' you can make them in 20 minutes including cooking. The recipe is very simple and you can give the sandwiches a circular shape, in the shape of a centerpiece crown or make half moons and cook them one not far from the other. You will have the convenience of making a simple but tasty appetizer for many guests, maybe you can replace the bread on the table with these sandwiches. Let's have fun in the kitchen with the STUFFED FOCACCIA sandwiches we will finish them before bringing them to the table. Space for imagination and... to gluttony! 😁
Ingredients
700 g dough for focaccia
150 g Cooked prosciutto
200 g Mozzarella
30 ml melted butter
Preparation
For the STUFFED FOCACCIA sandwiches we must have the focaccia dough ready. You can buy it already made or prepare the dough and let it rise for 2 hours. Take the dough for focaccia and roll it out on a pastry board for the height of 1 cm. We make strips 7 cm wide and about 25 cm long. At the beginning of the strips we put a little cooked prosciutto and a little mozzarella. Roll up to form sandwiches and seal them on the sides so that the filling does not come out. Place them on a baking sheet not far from each other and brush the surface with melted butter. Bake at 180°C for 30 minutes. As soon as they are ready, take them out of the oven and let them cool for 10 minutes, then serve them and taste them.
