Rigatoni with tomato sauce and meatballs 🥰😀
Pasta with meatball sauce is one of the timeless classics of Italian cuisine. For the recipe of pasta with sauce with meatballs I chose a short pasta format, specifically rigatoni, which tend to imprison the sauce; But if you want to follow the tradition one hundred percent spaghetti are the format that distinguishes the recipe of pasta with sauce with meatballs.

Ingredients
400 gr of rigatoni
400 gr of mixed ground beef
1 egg
1 sausage
1 clove of garlic
3-4 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 medium boiled potato
breadcrumbs to taste
salt and pepper to taste
nutmeg
Ingredients for the sauce
700 gr of tomato puree
1 clove of garlic
dried oregano
chili pepper
salt to taste
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
Preparation
In a large bowl put the mixed ground together with the sausage without skin and chopped, the mashed boiled potatoes, the chopped garlic, the eggs and the parsley. Mix the ingredients together. Adjust now with grated Parmesan, nutmeg, salt and pepper, mix carefully until you get a homogeneous mixture, if it is too soft, add a few tablespoons of breadcrumbs. Form balls and pass them one by one in breadcrumbs. Now in a large pan put the oil with garlic and without frying add the puree, cook for about ten minutes flavoring with oregano and chili and season with salt. After the period lay the meatballs in the sauce, add half a glass of water from the sides and cook over medium-low heat with the lid for about 15 minutes. From time to time turn the meatballs moving the pan or using a spoon. Boil the pasta and after draining put in a pan with the meatballs with sauce. Mix everything and serve immediately on the table. 🙂
