Appetizer board with fancy salami flowers

A platter of cold cuts accompanied by a good glass of wine? It is always a great idea for an appetizer. Today I show you how to make it even more beautiful by turning salami into a rose. Discover the process, follow my advice. Scenography, easy to customize and adapt to our needs and really delicious, this cutting board solves appetizers at home in a short time.

The platter of cold cuts and cheeses for a thousand occasions is a real salvation when we want to put on the table something delicious to tease for the appetizer. Easy to customize according to what we have or like, it is versatile and very appetizing. To complete the cold cuts and cheeses platter, I included a bowl of grilled peppers in oil, one of pitted green olives and one of black olives.



Ingredients

12 slices of salami
12 slices of rolled bacon
15 cherry tomatoes
Green and black olives to taste
10 croutons
5 slices of toasted bread
4 sprigs of rosemary
1 wine glass

Preparation

Fold a slice of salami in two on the edge of the glass. Add another slice on top, moving it sideways (starting from the middle of the first).
Roses of salami, the appetizer platter that will drive everyone crazy. Do the same thing with the other slices of salami until the entire edge of the glass is covered. Now turn the glass upside down on the cut. Add slices of bacon around the salami rose (you can make many roses, if you wish). Also add cherry tomatoes, croutons, toasted bread and sprigs of rosemary to decorate. Ready to enjoy!

What is the salami that fills with taste, sandwiches from all over Italy and beyond? I would say that salami wins over everyone. It is loved by children and irresistible for adults. It is a salami with a centuries-old tradition, it has a compact consistency, ruby red in color and the taste is sweet thanks to the wise use of its simple ingredients, which also give it a delicate aroma.

Ingredients for 2 sandwiches

2 sandwiches
8 slices of salami
1 zucchini
1 tablespoon of capers 1 tablespoon of olives
3 dried tomatoes (I used dried cherry tomatoes in oil)
1 mozzarella

Procedure

Start by cutting the bread into 2 parts. Chop the capers with the olives and dried tomatoes with a knife, until finely chopped. Cut the mozzarella into slices and let it dry on kitchen paper. Trim the zucchini and cut thin slices. Grill for a few minutes per side. Assemble your sandwich: spread the shot of capers, sun-dried tomatoes and olives, then the slices of mozzarella, zucchini and finally the salami. Now close the sandwich and enjoy it!
