Ingredients
400 g minced meat (mixed or beef)
1 l Tomato puree
2 tsp tomato extract
1onion
1carrot
1celery stalk
Half a glass Red wine
Salt to taste
Extra virgin olive oil to taste
1 bay leaf
Preparation
Chop the onion, carrot and celery and then fry the chopped, in a pot, together with a drizzle of olive oil. At the end, add the minced meat and cook it for a few seconds, until it changes color. Deglaze with the red wine and let it evaporate. Add the tomato puree. Season the sauce with a pinch of salt and bay leaf. Add a glass of water and let it cook, over low heat, for about 2 -3 hours. Check the cooking often and add water if needed. When the sauce is ready, start to compose the layers of LASAGNA. Prepare the base of a baking dish, with a little of the sauce. Place the sheets of lasagna, one next to the other and enrich the first layer with more meat sauce, a little béchamel sauce, and mozzarella and a handful of grated cheese. Cover with other sheets of dough and continue in this way until you finish all the ingredients available. Cook the LASAGNA in a hot oven at 190 C degrees for about 25 minutes. It must become golden and with a brown surface. Remove from the oven the LASAGNA and serve warm.
