Farfalle al salmone ❤️😋 



Smoked salmon butterflies are a typical 80s dish, a very easy dish to prepare that really marked an era. The recipe for butterflies with fresh salmon is the dinner saver par excellence. Salmon butterflies with cream are a first course easy and quick to prepare and that is usually appreciated by everyone. On this recipe, there are those who add tomato. 

Some who puts fresh salmon and some who put smoked salmon, some who add cream and some who do not put it. In short, everyone prepares salmon pasta following his personal tastes. In this case I have created a classic, suitable for every season: fresh salmon and cream meet to give life to a creamy and irresistible condiment.

The variations of this dish are many: with and without cream, with cherry tomatoes and without, with fresh salmon but also with other variations such as Philadelphia, robiola or Greek yogurt. A fish recipe that is often prepared during the holidays but that is eaten willingly all year round. The addition of a little fresh cream makes this pasta creamy and inviting and goes well with the strong flavor of salmon. 

The important thing is only one: that the salmon butterflies are prepared well! 😀

Ingredients

50 g butter
onion to taste
pinch of nutmeg
125 ml cooking cream
400 g Farfalle type pasta
200 g smoked salmon

Preparation 

Preparation  of this dish is simple and fast. Following my instructions you will make this dish in less than half an hour (including cooking pasta). Put the butter in a non-stick saucepan and melt it. Add the onion. Cut the salmon into small pieces and make it. Boil a pot with salted water. Cook the butterflies following the time indicated on the package and drain them al dente. Put them back in the pot and add the browned salmon and cream (I put half the package otherwise the flavor of the salmon is covered with cream). Sauté for about 5 minutes over high heat. Serve the pasta with salmon and hot cream. Enjoy your meal.
