Club sandwich with salami
The club sandwich that I propose today totally deviates from the original Canadian recipe, I made a lighter version but equally tasty, perfect for an appetizer or lunch. It is a lean and aromatic corpse that lends itself perfectly to the realization of sandwiches, and first courses. Halfway between a toast and a sandwich, here is the recipe for the perfect club sandwich. A very rich sandwich, made even tastier in this variant by the presence of the precious salami. Characterized by a beautiful intense and brilliant bright red of the slice, it has a sweet and delicate taste, made spicy by the presence of peppercorns and infusion of garlic in red wine.
The Club House Sandwich is the typical English "double" sandwich, stuffed with chicken or turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato, boiled egg and mayonnaise, which for its goodness and versatility has conquered the whole world. To make the taste more Italian, I suggest this variant with the salami. Only in the centuries to come, it became a popular food, thanks to the spread of pig breeding, coming to be appreciated even today.
As tradition teaches, the slice must be cut obliquely, like a "clarinet's beak", to obtain the characteristic non-round shape and adequate thickness. Characterized by a beautiful intense and brilliant bright red of the slice, it has a sweet and delicate flavor, made spicy by the presence of peppercorns and garlic infusion in red wine. Used as an original ingredient in your sandwich, it will give that extra twist to the recipe!
Ingredients
3 slices of bread
1 pack of salami
Provolone cheese, to taste
4-5 pickled onions
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
3 walnuts
Parsley to taste
Method
Take the mayonnaise and add it with the onions and chopped parsley, forming a homogeneous cream. Cut the edges of the bread into boxes and brown it in a pan on both sides to make it crispy. Arrange on the base of two of the three slices of bread in a box, the flavored mayonnaise, then add the thinly sliced provolone cheese, the walnuts and complete with the salami, finally close your club sandwich.
