Hazelnut Semifreddo/Hazelnut parfait

This hazelnut parfait is perfect to enjoy after a delicious dinner. It is fresh and delicious, composed of three layers of wafers alternating with mascarpone cream and Nutella. And to top it off, topping with Nutella and hazelnuts... I fell in love with it, try it and you will not be disappointed! You will no longer buy packaged ones, you have my word! Preparing a Semifreddo to offer to friends after dinner, can be the easy and tasty idea for those looking for a practical dessert, but delicious. You can prepare it well in advance and serve it as needed, coming it out of the freezer a few minutes before.

Hands up who is not crazy about fast and super greedy Semifreddo!

If you also fall into this category you have come to the right place because today I explain how to prepare the hazelnut parfait. Making this sweet is really simple, just a few steps and you're done. Beware roasting the hazelnuts. This is a fundamental step to eliminate the outer brown skins, but remember not to leave them too much on the fire so as not to burn them. So let's see all the steps of the recipe!

Ingredients
3 eggs
100 g hazelnuts
250 ml cream
80 g sugar
1 tablespoon Nutella

Preparation

First pour the hazelnuts into a non-stick pan. Put on the heat and toast the hazelnuts for 4-5 minutes over medium-low heat. Transfer the toasted hazelnuts to a clean cloth, rub the hazelnuts in order to remove the skin more excuse. Pour the hazelnuts into the mixer and chop finely. Keep the hazelnuts aside and meanwhile beat the egg yolks with the sugar until the mixture is fluffy and clear. Add the chopped hazelnuts, the Nutella and stir. Now whip the egg whites until stiff, then do the same thing with the cream. Add to the hazelnut mixture first the egg whites and then the whipped cream, stirring very slowly so as not to disassemble it. Pour the cream into single-portion cups lined with baking paper. Put in the freezer and let stand for at least 12 hours. Before serving, remember to remove your sweets from the freezer so that they thaw for 5 minutes at room temperature. Turn out your semifreddo on a serving plate, sprinkle with a little cocoa powder and serve immediately!
