INGREDIENTS

SPAGHETTI 350 gr
RIPE CHERRY TOMATOES 350 gr
GARLIC 1 clove
EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL 2 tablespoons
BASIL to taste
SALT to taste
CHILI PEPPER to taste (optional)

PREPARATION

Wash the cherry tomatoes. Peel a clove of garlic. Cut the cherry tomatoes in half and set aside. In a large pan, brown the garlic in a little oil. If you want to add chili pepper do it now. Add the cherry tomatoes and a little salt to the pan. Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti in plenty of boiling salted water, drain them al dente and add them to the cherry tomatoes. Season the pasta with the cherry tomato sauce by adding the basil leaves.

Serve hot!

VARIATIONS

To obtain tasty variations of spaghetti with fresh tomatoes, all you have to do is add the ingredients you prefer, such as breadcrumbs, a handful of olives or tuna. With the cherry tomato sauce we are fine both green olives and black olives. Remove the pit and chop them into small pieces before dipping them in a pan to flavor them together with the cherry tomatoes. For four people, about twenty olives are enough.
