The basis of bruschetta
I love bruschetta, it drives me crazy and I would live on bruschetta, even just with tomatoes! How can you resist bruschetta? Few simple ingredients and lots of taste! Today I will show how to prepare a delicious bruschetta, full of taste, but also quick to make. There are countless bruschetta recipes! I will show you my classic version, but they can be done in a thousand different ways.
INGREDIENTS
Italian tomatoes-3Extra virgin olive oil-45 ml (3 tbsp)Green onions, minced-2Basil, chopped-30 mL (2 tbsp)Baguettes, cut into slices 1cm thick-1Garlic-2 clovesSalt and pepper-To taste
PREPARATION
In a saucepan, bring enough water to a boil to immerse the tomatoes.Make a cross incision under the tomatoes. Immerse yourself in boiling water for about 1 minute or until the skin begins to curl up at the incision site. Cool quickly in ice water. Drain, peel and seed the tomatoes, then cut them into small cubes. Add the oil, green onions and basil, and mix. Toast the slices of bread. Rub the garlic cloves on the bread slices and garnish with the tomato mixture. It's needed!
TipAmong my favorites there are bruschetta with tomato, basil and raw ham or with burrata stracciatella and seasoned tomatoes on top.
