Ingredients

400 g Short pasta
800 g Broccoli (to be cleaned)
2 Pork sausages
1 clove Garlic
2 Dried chilies
Extra virgin olive oil to taste
Salt to taste

Preparation

First clean the broccoli: remove the stem and keep only the florets. Rinse them under running water. Bring a pot of water to a boil, add 1 tablespoon of coarse salt, which serves to give flavor, but also to maintain the bright color of the broccoli, and boil the tops of the broccoli for 5 minutes. In a pan, heat a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil with 1 clove of peeled garlic and 2 dried chilies (if you like), so as to flavor the oil. Remove the sausage from the gut, cut it into pieces, and brown it for a few minutes in a pan. Remove the clove of garlic and chili. Drain the broccoli with a slotted spoon and pour them into the pan together with the sausage. Continue cooking over moderate heat.
Meanwhile, boil the pasta directly in the pot where you cooked the broccoli. Add a few tablespoons of cooking water in the pan of the sauce with broccoli and crush a few tops with a fork, to make the dish creamier. Season with salt.

I recommend
If you love a slightly spicy taste, you can also cut a chili in half, remove the seeds and cut it thinly.

When you mix the pasta, you can make it even tastier by adding a few tablespoons of Parmesan. If you want your  pasta creamier with broccoli, you can add 150 g of Philadelphia, which will melt in a pan together with a little cooking water.
